THE PERSON Khanzada Emran H. Khan has been in the International trading business since 1972, soon after graduation and now deals with some of the largest corporations in the world. He has a deep insight into the developed industrialization in many areas of the world and feels the same is achievable in Pakistan yet due to the old system of governance by the Federal Government bureaucracy, the economic growth has been extremely slow and the economy could not flourish as it should have, particularly since the decades, starting soon after the 1965 war with India. Basic Industrialization came to a halt and thus the nation had to adopt a policy of ‘beg, borrow and steal’ and were dependent on hand outs by the rich nations and its institutions that extended a helping hand like the Middle Eastern Arabian countries , World Bank, IMF, Asian Development Bank, The Paris Club etc. He is also very keen on seeing the Muslim world on one single platform for subjects like Education, Healthcare , Industrialization and governance . While the military might is an indisputable need of all nations and states, it is not the only institution that needs development but the military should itself benefit from the overall growth of the economy and from the welfare and well-being of all its citizens, irrespective of caste, color, creed, religion, etc. even though these desires are unfulfilled, he notices the erosion of trust between the Federating Units of Pakistan with despair for the same reasons as in 1971, the majority separated from Pakistan , as the Awami League from East Pakistan won the national elections with a majority and yet could not form the government in Islamabad. The main underlying Political reason was that their might have been fears in the bureaucracy, that their powers and sway over the nation would be reduced due to the Six-Point agenda of the Awami League, and then having opted for a military solution . Due to weakened institutions of the state, the need of the hour became a national reconciliation among the remaining Federating Units. Today, whether the powerful rulers admit it or not, the smaller provinces are suspicious of the federal government’s intents and words alone does not satisfy them any longer. They need concrete ironclad legislations in place, safeguarding their identities and economic well-being and there is nothing wrong with that e.g. if one looks at W.Europe after World War II or more recently lets look at haven we all call the UAE which infact is Federation of 7(seven ) provinces / states. Pakistan has been a preferred nation of the USA since 1948 onwards and yet has not been able to make use of that friendship, like other similar new born states did e.g. South Korea, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Israel and Hong Kong, the cooperation with USA remained largely of the covert-type and it is hoped that Society will finally benefit from that relationship. Having joined, for the first time a political party , the PML – (Quaid-e-Azam) in 2001, Mr. Khanzada Emran H. Khan has been active to pursue the national objectives through the channel of PML and hopes one day the renewed and revitalized PML will usher in the greatness and create a strong nation – Pakistan- that will bring honors, respect and dignity to all its citizens. Mr. Khanzada Emran has also been an active Social worker, helping the poor and needy, from his own resources, as much as possible and desires to expand that area under his NGO called UMEED whose. brochure appears below.
